Job summary

Pano AI, a leader in wildfire detection, seeks a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to design and deploy real-time CV models on cloud and edge platforms. You will optimize for Jetson and embedded GPUs, drive latency reductions, and lead edge AI initiatives across teams.

You will mentor peers, collaborate with researchers and engineers, and help advance geospatial and outdoor vision capabilities in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in CS/EE/Robotics or related field required.
• 5+ years in computer vision or ML, with edge deployment experience.
• Strong experience with PyTorch and modern architectures.
• Experience deploying AI models to edge devices (Jetson, embedded GPUs).
• Knowledge of CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX and model optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud/edge AI architectures for real-time vision systems.
• Develop CV models for detection, segmentation, tracking, and scene understanding.
• Optimize models for ARM64, CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, and NVIDIA Jetson.
• Build cloud and edge inference pipelines for multi-camera systems.
• Lead deployment, monitoring, OTA update and observability for edge AI.
• Collaborate with researchers, software/hardware engineers, and product teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for edge CV.
