Job summary

Dexis is seeking a Computer Operator IV to support a large-scale Army test and evaluation program in Aberdeen, Maryland. The role involves advanced computer operations, data-flow monitoring, and reporting using tools such as Cognos, with travel across CONUS/OCONUS as needed.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Studies or related field with extensive experience, or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies or related field with 4+ years of experience or an equivalent combination.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Experience with data-entry software tools in a Windows environment and with industry-standard reporting tools (Cognos, Access, Crystal Reports).
• Must be willing and able to travel within CONUS/OCONUS as required.

Responsibilities

• Support functional users of computer systems by accepting processing requirements and preparing them for execution.
• Set up and maintain test projects, customize electronic data-entry forms for complex projects.
• Use web-enabled data management systems to track and monitor data flow.
• Query databases and produce professional reports based on user requirements.
• Monitor daily data flow to identify errors or anomalies for corrective action.
• Collaborate with government users and other agencies to formulate requirements for potential system modifications.
• Provide user training on software packages as required.
• Operate in a Secret environment in accordance with security procedures when required.
