Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Computer Engineer/Scientist to support a USAF customer at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH. The role involves coding, data modeling, and decision-support development in a DoD context.

Requirements include a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience with Windows/Linux, Python, C++, and MATLAB, plus DoD verification, V&V, and agile practices. NDA and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in multiple coding environments (Windows, Linux, SQL, Python, C++, Matlab).
Experience with DoD verification & validation methodologies and agile practices.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to FES Division Chief.
Review code developed by operational analysts supporting USAFSAM data analysis and decision support projects.
Design, code, test, and operationalize aeromedical and operation medical decision support projects.
Develop work plans and assist with program management of software development efforts.
Lead development, improvement, and maintenance of data and models.
