Watlow is seeking a Senior Simulation Driven Development Engineer to lead advanced computational engineering efforts across product development and technology initiatives.

The role requires applying FEA/CFD, thermal-fluid sciences, and engineering analytics to solve complex challenges, collaborating with manufacturing, testing, and design teams to improve performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• MS in a relevant engineering discipline with 8+ years of computational engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and engineering mechanics.
• Experience with FEA/CFD software such as ANSYS Mechanical, Fluent, CFX, COMSOL, STAR-CCM+, or equivalent.
• Ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams across global sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex thermal, structural, fluid flow, and multiphysics simulation projects.
• Develop and validate FEA/CFD models for thermal systems and related technologies.
• Support design optimization and process improvements through simulation-driven engineering.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional technical reviews.
