Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Engineering, or related field and at least three years of postdoctoral work in a biologically related area.
• Proficiency with Neuron and/or Netpyne software packages.
• Excellent Python programming skills and experience in Linux environments with HPC clusters and SLURM.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Dr. Carmen Canavier on computationally intensive projects.
• Develop collaborations with LSUHSC faculty to obtain extramural funding.
