Job summary

Schrödinger seeks a Computational Chemist (Target Druggability and Structure-Based Drug Design) to join our Therapeutics Group. You will work with designers, modelers and biologists to advance drug discovery using computational methods.

You will contribute to target selection and strategy, interpreting structural data and collaborating with software teams to enhance Schrödinger’s technologies. A strong cross-disciplinary communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Chemistry or Structural Biology with drug design focus.
• Experience interpreting protein structures for ligand binding and cryptic pockets.
• Postdoctoral or industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support active drug discovery projects as a computational chemist/modeler.
• Integrate structural, computational, biophysical and biological data for target assessment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore alternative conformations and binding sites.
• Work with software teams to advance Schrödinger’s drug discovery technologies.
• Share knowledge within Schrödinger Therapeutic Group.
