Job summary

1910 is seeking a Computational Theoretical Chemist II in Boston, MA to lead computation-driven drug discovery across modalities. You will collaborate with Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, and ML/AI teams to accelerate Hit-to-Lead to IND-enabling stages and contribute to patents and publications.

PhD in computational chemistry with 2+ years in biotech or pharma is required, along with hands-on QC/MD tools and scripting experience.

Qualifications

• PhD in computational chemistry or related discipline.
• 2+ years of industry experience in drug discovery/biotech.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead computational chemistry programs across therapeutic modalities and targets.
• Provide insights to Hit-to-Lead and Lead Optimization in coordination with Biology and Medicinal Chemistry.
• Collaborate with ML Engineering and AI Research to support AI/ML models in drug discovery.
• Co-author provisional patents and peer-reviewed papers.
