Job summary

Spirit Defense, a Boeing Company, is seeking a skilled composite technician to join our defense and space program team in Wichita. You will build composite structure details and assemblies using carbon and other composites, following drawings and process specs to deliver quality parts on schedule.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with wet layup, graphite, bagging complex parts, and working with hand tools. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling composite structures using carbon and other materials.
• Ability to follow drawings and process specifications to deliver quality parts.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Build composite structure details and assemblies per drawings and specs.
• Perform multi-tasking and multi-machine operation where applicable.
• Work on platforms up to ten feet above the ground.
• Work in confined spaces and over head.
• Maintain a clean working environment and clean as you go.
• Collaborate within a team to deliver quality products on time.
