Qualifications
Experience scaling processes from development to production.
Ability to analyze and understand technical drawings and CAD models.
Knowledge of GD&T and the appropriate tolerances in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Translate material and design requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
Conduct hands-on builds and process validation on the shop floor.
Analyze test data to characterize material properties and drive process improvements.
Support qualification efforts and investigate defects.
Skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with 3D woven or complex preform architectures
Familiarity with aerospace qualification standards
Knowledge of NDI/NDT methods for composites
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience with CAD software (UG NX)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in composites or materials processing manufacturing or R&D environment
Tools
ERP and MRP systems (e.g. Oracle)
PLM systems (e.g. Matrix)
MES systems (e.g. Solumina)
