Job summary

Responsibilities include optimizing composite manufacturing processes, preparing technical documentation, and providing mentorship to junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of composites manufacturing experience and a deep understanding of aerospace and defense requirements, alongside skills in project management and effective communication. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or materials science.
• 10+ years of composites manufacturing experience, including hands-on shop floor involvement.
• 8+ years in the aerospace and defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize composite manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Lead or participate in design reviews and failure investigations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office

Strong technical writing skills

Ability to communicate effectively

Experience with project management

Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies

Education

B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
