Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience in carbon fiber composite aerospace manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD software for tooling & fixturing design.
• Excellent communication & cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven track record of process improvement in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of tooling, fixtures, and production equipment meeting aerospace standards.
• Continuously optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Own hardware development and production processes, meeting schedules and driving improvements.
• Develop innovative tooling/fixturing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Be primary contact for part expertise and fabrication guidance.
• Support floor operations and implement changes to improve production.
• Create detailed work instructions to standardize processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams for seamless integration.
• Manage manufacturing programs to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
• Identify production challenges and implement effective solutions.
