Job summary

Magna Electronics seeks a Senior Technical Lead / Component Engineer to guide exterior radar, in-vehicle radar sensing, and powertrain components. You will define requirements, work with suppliers, and drive PPAP and post-launch support in a global context.

The role requires an engineering degree, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across Magna Project, Purchasing, and Quality teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree required, MS preferred.
• Experience in Automotive Electronics design and semiconductor tech.
• Strong communication and global collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate product needs into technical requirements and RFQ packages.
• Consolidate supplier roadmaps and influence Magna project needs.
• Act as Magna expert on industry semiconductor technology.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate component development from sourcing through PPAP.
• Support post-launch component issues and PCN/EOL processing.
