Job summary

WR Systems is seeking a Component Level Repair Technician in Norfolk, VA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment at the component level, with a requirement of 10+ years of experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Ten (10)+ years of experience in electronic systems maintenance.
• Strong soldering skills with through-hole and SMT components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment at the component level.
• Perform qualification and acceptance testing using automated test equipment.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve technical problems.
• Populate circuit boards to J-STD-001 standards.

Skills

Soldering experience with Through Hole and SMT components

Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits

Operation of electronics-related test equipment

Ability to read engineering drawings

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate's Degree in Engineering or similar

Completion of U.S. Navy 'C' schools in electronics

Solder certification (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001)
