About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Advanced Component Level Electronics Quality Inspector to support inspection, quality assurance, and compliance activities for advanced electronic and electromechanical products. In this role, you’ll perform detailed inspections, evaluate defects, verify corrective actions, and ensure products meet stringent military, engineering, and customer quality requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct detailed inspections of electronic components, materials, assemblies, and finished products.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, workmanship standards, and customer requirements.
- Inspect products at multiple stages of manufacturing and assembly.
- Evaluate defects in real time and identify potential quality concerns.
- Determine root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain traceability and ensure proper labeling of materials and assemblies throughout production.
- Prepare and maintain inspection records, nonconformance reports, and quality documentation.
- Support audits, process inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues.
- Review rework activities and verify compliance with approved procedures and specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and process effectiveness.

Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience performing quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing inspection, or component‑level electronics inspection.
- 4+ years of experience inspecting electronic assemblies, components, circuit boards, or electromechanical systems.
- 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- 2+ years of experience conducting root‑cause investigations, nonconformance evaluations, and corrective action verification.
- 2+ years of experience maintaining quality documentation, inspection reports, and traceability records.
- Current or previous certifications in J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, or related quality standards.
- 2+ years of experience performing X-Ray inspection and analysis of electronic assemblies.

- Advanced troubleshooting and defect analysis skills.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support quality initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to effectively communicate quality concerns and recommendations to cross‑functional teams.
- Interest in leveraging AI‑enabled tools to improve quality monitoring, reporting, and process performance.
