Job summary

Protingent is seeking a Component Engineer 4 in Sunnyvale, CA. This contract role involves ensuring quality and delivery of purchased components, leading product teams, and managing supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate should have a BS degree in Engineering and over 10 years of related experience, including knowledge of pFMEA and various manufacturing processes. The position offers a pay range of $80 - $86 an hour, with benefits including competitive salaries and PTO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years related experience in Manufacturing or Supplier Process Engineering.
• Demonstrable knowledge in evaluating supplier capabilities.
• Significant computer experience using ERP Information Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Core Product Teams in defining Part Qualification requirements.
• Complete Production Part Qualification Process deliverables.
• Drive corrective actions using Root Cause tools.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to motivate suppliers

Knowledge of pFMEA and process validation

Familiarity with 21 CFR part 820

Experience in auditing suppliers

Education

BS degree in Engineering field
