Job summary

Soho Square Solutions is seeking a Component Design Engineer to join the Global Mechanical Systems Capability function. You will create engineering solutions for component and sub-system environments, emphasizing robustness for manufacturing capability and meeting system requirements.

You will deliver artefacts such as documents, models, and definitions, participate in IPTs, and apply System Engineering, Robust Design, and lean methods to ensure right-first-time, producible components and

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or regional equivalent.
Strong mechanical design knowledge and cross-disciplinary understanding.
Ability to apply analytical thinking to technical problems and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver design solutions for components, complex assemblies and engines with focus on safety and manufacturability.
Define stakeholder requirements across manufacturing, customers, and partners.
Create automated work flows and MB definitions to support design, manufacture and measurement.
Ensure producibility and zero defects through lean principles and robust design methods.
Check design documents against RRMS requirements and manage data integrity.
Plan and execute external designs with suppliers to meet project goals.
