Job summary

TD Securities in New York seeks an experienced Compliance Transformation leader to oversee high-priority regulatory remediation and control initiatives. You will shape governance, deliver milestones, and provide executive-ready reporting to senior leadership.

You will partner with Technology, Risk, Legal, and Operations to translate regulatory priorities into executable plans, manage the budget, and ensure timely delivery across a dynamic, global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Compliance, Risk, Regulatory, Audit, Controls, Program Management, or Transformation roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to large-scale transformation, remediation, regulatory response, control enhancement, or operating model change programs with senior leadership visibility.
• Strong understanding of Compliance operating models, regulatory expectations, 2nd Line of Defense responsibilities, risk management frameworks, control design, issue management, governance, and remediation execution.
• Proven ability to translate complex priorities into structured execution plans, milestones, governance routines, progress reporting, and escalation mechanisms.
• Experience supporting remediation initiatives including milestone validation, dependency tracking, risk and issue management, and closure discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred, such as MBA, JD, CPA, CAMS, CRCM, PMP, PMI-ACP, Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the program management function for Compliance initiatives, ensuring strong governance and timely delivery of priorities.
• Maintain an integrated portfolio view of remediation commitments to support oversight and reporting.
• Oversee remediation execution, including milestone tracking, risk/issue management, and blockers resolution.
• Provide informed challenge to project owners by applying project management discipline and Compliance knowledge.
• Drive transparency and accountability across the change portfolio with clear scoping and resourcing.
• Develop executive-ready reporting for senior Compliance leadership, including dashboards and milestone updates.
• Coordinate the annual technology budget process, prioritization, and funding alignment to risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, Risk, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to translate priorities into deliverables.
• Monitor portfolio health, identify emerging risks, and improve governance and reporting practices.
• Standardize templates and improve reporting and dependency management across Compliance projects.
