Job summary

The Fountain Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist – Leaves & Accommodations to serve as a subject matter expert for complex LoAA cases, and to manage escalated leave, disability, accommodation, and return-to-work matters in a hybrid setup (in the office Tue–Thu).

You will support the ADA interactive process, maintain legally defensible case records and correspondence, mentor LoAA specialists, identify process gaps, and help implement SOPs, templates, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience with Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, disability case management, and ADA processes.
• Proven ability to maintain compliant, auditable documentation and to work with HR/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for complex LoAA cases.
• Manage escalated leave, disability, accommodation, and return-to-work matters.
• Support the ADA interactive process, including documentation review and outcome determination.
• Maintain legally defensible case records, interactive process documentation, case rationale, and correspondence.
• Conduct case reviews, documentation audits, and process adherence checks to identify compliance risks.
• Guide and mentor LoAA Specialists on routing, documentation standards, escalation criteria, and standard work.
• Identify LoAA process gaps and support implementation of improved procedures, SOPs, templates, and knowledge resources.
• Escalate legally sensitive, high-risk, ambiguous, or precedent-setting cases to appropriate HR, Legal, or Employee Relations stakeholders.

Location: Raleigh, NC – Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday in office)
Pay Rate: $49.07/hour
Duration: 6 months, with potential extension or conversion

• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex Leave of Absence & Accommodations (LoAA) cases.
• Manage escalated leave, disability, accommodation, and return-to-work matters.
• Support the ADA interactive process, including documentation review, solution exploration, and outcome determination.
• Maintain legally defensible case records, interactive process documentation, case rationale, and correspondence.
