  • 7+ years of related experience in highly regulated industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or relevant, equivalent experience.
  • Industry-recognized compliance certifications preferred (e.g., CAMS, CRCM).

Responsibilities

  • Owns the design, implementation, and oversight of the Compliance Management Program.
  • Lead or mentor Compliance team members and coordinate with legal, operations, and finance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, perform risk assessments, testing, and reporting to senior management and the Board.
  • Translate complex topics into executive-ready communications and dashboards.
  • Apply AI tools and tech to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.

They are also responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements affecting those entities, products, and services. The Senior Compliance Manager will assist the Chief Compliance Officer in identifying and assessing compliance risks, informing and advising the Company of its compliance responsibilities, overseeing compliance efforts and controls in the first and second lines of defense, performing testing and monitoring activities to assess compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements, and reporting compliance matters to senior management and the Board. This role may function as a people manager or as a senior individual contributor, depending on organizational structure.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Where applicable, leads a team of Compliance professionals and holds them accountable for maintaining established standards, including responsibility for compensation, performance appraisals, development, and training with a focus on growth through coachingServes as a resource and mentor to less senior Compliance Team Members across the department, sharing subject matter expertise and supporting their professional development regardless of reporting structureOwns and is accountable for the design, implementation, and ongoing oversight of all components of the Compliance Management Program for assigned entities or divisions, using designated compliance technologySupports a global compliance function by partnering with other compliance leaders across the organizationAnalyzes and provides credible challenges to the assessment of the control environment, risk assessments, testing, corrective action plans, and responses to regulatory issues and complaintsDevelops and refines compliance routines to support oversight of assigned entities or divisionsAssesses compliance risks and controls while demonstrating consideration for the Company’s reputation and commitment to applicable regulatory requirementsIdentifies and evaluates emerging risks and presents findings using various tools, including data analyticsInfluences peers and partners across Legal, Operations, Finance, and first-line business functions to drive compliance outcomes without relying on formal authorityPartners with others throughout the organization to support ongoing compliance with policy mandates and regulatory requirementsParticipates in the development and approval of business changes, projects, and other items that impact regulatory complianceTranslates complex regulatory topics into executive-ready communications; provides reports on compliance activities for management and the BoardInforms senior management of significant compliance matters that require their attention or actionParticipates in discussions with regulators in connection with inquiries, inspections, and examsSafeguards EZCORP, its clients, and their assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy requirements, and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practicesPerforms additional duties as assignedActively applies artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies to automate routine tasks, accelerate problem-solving, and deliver measurable improvements in quality and efficiency within area of responsibility.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:7+ years of related experience in highly regulated industriesBachelor’s degree highly preferred or relevant, equivalent experience; industry-recognized compliance certifications preferred (e.g., CAMS, CRCM)EZCORP is an Equal Opportunity Employer
