Job summary

windenergyoftexas is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to bridge CIP compliance with IT operations in our Texas-based energy network. This role focuses on NERC/ERCOT standards, evidence collection, regulatory reporting, and internal audits, ensuring cyber and IT controls align with industry requirements.

You will collaborate with IT, Operations, Planning, Engineering, Contracts, and other departments to enhance the culture of compliance and support corrective actions across transmission assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field and 4+ years in compliance.
• Experience in electric utility, energy, transmission, or ERCOT market.
• Fundamental understanding of CIP and NERC Standards for CIP-related operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate collection, validation, organization, and retention of compliance evidence for audits.
• Interact with IT/Cybersecurity, Operations, Planning, and Engineering to promote compliance culture.
• Develop and maintain CIP and O&P work plans to implement NERC standards.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and ERCOT/Operating Guides affecting compliance programs.
• Apply IT controls knowledge to align performance with industry best practices.
• Support remedial actions and corrective action plans to resolve non-compliance issues.
• Assist in incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
