Job summary
Kleinfelder’s Environmental team seeks a Senior Compliance Environmental Scientist/Engineer to support multi-media environmental compliance for industrial, transportation, and energy clients, including air permitting, stormwater permitting, SPCC plan development, and waste management support.
The role emphasizes data management, regulatory interpretation, and client relations, with opportunities for growth and mentoring; positions available in Raleigh, Charlotte, or Atlanta with flexible hybrid
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of air quality permitting and compliance.
- Experience with stormwater and SPCC planning.
- Strong data management and regulatory interpretation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.
- Excellent writing and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide multi-media environmental compliance support to clients.
- Develop and implement air permitting, stormwater permitting, and SPCC plans.
- Perform air emissions calculations and reporting.
- Conduct compliance audits and site assessments.
- Support groundwater remediation and data management.
