Job summary
Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Compliance Environmental Scientist/Engineer to support our growing ESG practice. The role involves multi-media environmental compliance, including air permitting, SPCC plans, and waste management for industrial, transportation, energy, and other clients.
The successful candidate will handle data-intensive regulatory interpretation, apply engineering calculations, and work independently or as part of a team to deliver technically sound solutions across regions in
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in environmental sciences or environmental or chemical engineering.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in the listed disciplines.
- Advanced writing skills and high proficiency in mathematics and problem-solving.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide multi-media environmental compliance support including air permitting, stormwater permits, SPCC plan development, and waste management.
- Perform air emission control evaluations, air modeling, and regulatory reporting.
- Conduct compliance audits and assist with site assessment and groundwater remediation.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and manage projects.
