Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Compliance Counsel to join the global Group Compliance team based in Warsaw. You will help strengthen the compliance framework, provide second-line support, and guide stakeholders on regulatory matters, with a focus on market abuse and insider trading.

You will collaborate across the organization, develop training, and contribute to continuous improvement of policies and programs in a dynamic FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• Have a degree in law or commercial law.
• Have 2–3 years of experience with Market Abuse Regulations, Insider Trading, or equivalent compliance topics.
• Have good analytical skills with attention to details.
• Have clear English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Have a good understanding of compliance issues and risks, balancing business advice with compliance standards.
• To perform well in this role, you should have good interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification, assessment, and management of compliance risks, with a focus on market abuse regulations.
• Develop and maintain processes for monitoring personal trading activities and related compliance obligations.
• Develop internal training programs, including e-learning and face-to-face training.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at all levels, providing practical guidance on complex compliance matters.
• Develop and enhance compliance policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Participate in activities to monitor compliance and mitigations across the organization and assess effectiveness.
• Support audits, client due diligence processes, and interactions with external stakeholders.
