Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Corporate Audit Services (CAS) Senior Auditor to independently complete audit engagements with guidance from the audit team management.

The role requires understanding risk, key processes, and controls, with supervision of testing and documentation that aligns with internal policies. The position involves planning engagements, drafting issues, and supporting reporting, with a focus on compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to seven years of applicable experience.
• Preferred: consumer or regulatory compliance background.
• Experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist audit team management in planning audit engagements, identifying risks and controls, and evaluating design adequacy.
• Perform or supervise staff auditors in testing controls and documenting work as per policies.
• Draft audit issues with root cause analysis and operationally effective recommendations.
• Support reporting and wrap-up phases, including audit report drafting.
• Apply coaching insights to improve audit processes.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
