Job summary

The Senior Compliance Analyst at The Standard serves as the SME and single point of contact for individual disability income product compliance across the organization. You will partner with product, legal, actuarial, operations, claims, implementation and service teams to ensure compliant product design, implementation and administration of disability insurance products and related health products.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, legal, or related field.
• Professional compliance or insurance certifications preferred.
• 4–6+ years in compliance or regulatory roles with industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret federal and state statutes and regulations.
• Perform compliance monitoring, testing, and control assessments.
• Draft, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Advise business units on compliance initiatives and product design.
• Assist with product filings and multi-state filings when needed.
• Engage with industry groups and regulators; support audits and exams.
