Job summary

Park Bank in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to ensure regulatory compliance across all bank operations. You will serve as a trusted resource, providing expert guidance, conducting internal audits, and supporting training initiatives to foster a strong culture of compliance within a community-focused bank.

You will collaborate with diverse departments, identify and resolve compliance gaps, assist in implementing regulatory changes, and help develop training programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of Relevant Compliance Or Banking Experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day compliance support and guidance to bank associates in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
• Perform routine monitoring, prepare reports, and recommend and coordinate resolutions efforts with department managers.
• Arrange for and provide appropriate training to associates in order to achieve the Bank's compliance goals.
• Determine if established policies and procedures are effective and review new products for regulatory compliance.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and assess their impact on bank operations.
• Support external audits and regulatory exams by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Participate in all required compliance training, as well as internal and external training programs, seminars, and conferences.
• Actively participate in various committees.
• Participate in compliance exams and audits by responding timely to requests for information and assist in research and resolution of outstanding issues.
• Review advertising, promotional brochures, bank form documents for compliance with banking regulation.

Education

Associate's degree or equivalent experience
