Job summary

The Jonus Group seeks a seasoned Complex Claims Specialist to join its Claims team in Atlanta, GA. You will manage mid to high-severity MPL claims, oversee litigation, draft coverage letters, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive favorable outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in Professional Liability or Specialty/Financial Lines, a JD preferred, active adjuster licensing, and proven leadership in negotiation and litigation strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Professional Liability or Specialty/Financial Lines claims handling.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school may supplement claims handling.
• Licensing as an adjuster within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex mid to high-severity MPL claims and litigation.
• Draft complex coverage letters including reservation of rights and denials.
• Analyze claim docs and filings to determine resolutions.
• Lead defense strategies on litigated files.
• Mentor and train team members in claims handling.
