This full-time exempt role investigates, documents, and determines coverage and liability for high-exposure claims, collaborating with defense counsel and stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes. Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience handling complex claims and litigation in commercial insurance.
• Experience with construction defect, liquor liability, product liability, D&O, and E&O claims.
• Strong knowledge of tort law, insurance coverage, litigation procedures, and negotiation strategies.
• Ability to interpret medical records, accident reconstruction reports, and legal filings.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of complex bodily injury claims, including catastrophic injuries and fatalities.
• Conduct thorough investigations reviewing police reports, medical records, expert evaluations, and statements.
• Assess liability, damages, and coverage to make strategic claim decisions.
• Collaborate with legal counsel in litigation management, including mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Evaluate and negotiate settlements within authority limits balancing cost efficiency and resolution.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and other parties.
