Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Industry designation(s) preferred.
• Licenses as required for specific jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively oversee a complex claim inventory with jurisdictional oversight.
• Act as SME to assist lines of business and key jurisdictions on complex claim issues.
• Use knowledge of claims handling to evaluate exposure and direct action plans.
• Document clear file notes for stakeholders to understand issues and resolutions.
• Lead roundtables and coordinate internal/external resources as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and co-own complex claim issues for quality improvement.
• Assist in policy and procedure development.
• Mentor complex claim consultants, adjusters and team leads.
• Lead calibration exercises to ensure consistency.
