from a CODA-accredited school and at least five years of clinical experience, with teaching experience a plus. Instructors will lead treatment planning, maintain high professional standards, and participate in faculty governance.

Qualifications

• D.D.S./DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school or equivalent required.
• Clinical experience of at least 5 years.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and guide student doctor/patient interaction and assist in transition to clinical practice.
• Provide guidance in care of complex patients with the complex team in treatment planning and progress.
• Model professionalism and patient management techniques for students.
• Assure accuracy of notes, charges, preparedness, professionalism, and approvals.
• Assist in solving patient related problems.
• Monitor unapproved notes and treatments daily, weekly and monthly.
• Report misconduct to CPL, Director of Clinical Education, and Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs.
• Attend clinical faculty meetings and relevant committees as assigned.
