Job summary

Albany Medical College seeks a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and advance the Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and NY license eligibility.
• Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced MIGS including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Develop multidisciplinary care pathways for pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
• Participate in quality improvement, outcomes research and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
