Job summary

Albany Medical College in New York seeks a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and advance the Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development within a large academic health system in the Capital Region.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• New York Medical License or eligibility.
• Completion of a MIGS fellowship is required or strongly preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care pathways for complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

Education

MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
