Job summary

Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program in Malvern, PA seeks a Senior Complex Assets Analyst to evaluate, underwrite, and manage complex asset contributions and investment activities under the Head of Investments. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in complex assets or investments.
• Experience with alternative investments and transaction underwriting preferred.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complex Asset Evaluation and Transaction Management: evaluate assets across private stock, private equity, hedge funds, and other non-cash assets.
• Due diligence: perform financial, legal, tax, and regulatory checks to assess ownership and risk.
• Coordinate transaction execution, documentation, approvals, transfer mechanics with internal/external partners.
• Portfolio management: monitor held and off-menu assets; analyze performance and risk exposure.
• Reporting: prepare materials for leadership and governance bodies and donor discussions.
