Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to deliver expert compensation consulting for Worldwide Stores. You will partner with PXT Partners and Management to design and optimize base pay, annual incentives, and stock programs while advocating Amazon’s Total Compensation Philosophy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance, compensation or consulting experience.
• 5+ years of Human Resources, Compensation Management or Consulting experience.
• Knowledge of Excel and PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of compensation compliance with state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives.
• Effectively partner with PXT and Business client to manage, consult, and resolve compensation issues.
• Provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on total compensation issues including base pay, incentive pay and stock compensation.
• Partner with the business to develop variable incentive compensation programs, as needed.
• Conduct job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation.
• Conduct custom surveys with key industry contacts, as needed.
• Partner with regional compensation on compensation issues and work on special projects.
