Job summary

Metropolis seeks a Compensation Manager to partner with Operations and Growth, overseeing hourly pay structures, location-based grids, and frontline compliance. You will lead the governance, policy drafting, and annual field reviews while partnering with RevOps and Finance on incentive plans.

This hybrid role requires 7+ years in compensation, expert data modeling in Excel/Sheets, and hands-on SPM software experience. You will drive pay equity analyses and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Advanced data modeling with Excel/Google Sheets including nested formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with HRIS/SPM data reporting and analytics.
• Proven track record in sales compensation design and administration.
• Strong knowledge of minimum wage compliance and multi-state wage grids.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Field Ops HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and leadership on market pay strategies.
• Design, maintain, and audit hourly pay structures and location-based wage grids.
• Lead annual field review cycle and quarterly compression analyses.
• Draft and govern Sales Incentive Plans and SPIFF templates.
• Oversee rollout of sales compensation plans and quota attestations.
• Provide executive-level insights from compensation data.
