Job summary

City of Hope is hiring a Compensation professional to manage compensation for multiple client areas across the enterprise. You will evaluate job descriptions, determine salary ranges, and ensure FLSA compliance while partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition and leadership.

Responsibilities include market trend analysis, cost modeling, program design and administering compensation programs for both union and non-union staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a compensation professional; 10 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies broad knowledge of compensation principles in managing multiple client areas.
• Evaluates market trends to recommend changes to compensation programs.
• Evaluates job descriptions to determine attributes, salary ranges and exemptions.
• Audits jobs for content and FLSA exemption status, and makes recommendations.
• Develops, implements and administers salary programs, policies and guidelines.
• Acts as internal consultant to HR on compensation matters and collective bargaining agreements.
• Participates in collective bargaining data analysis and cost modeling for proposals.
• Develops and presents training materials on compensation topics.
