Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to deliver broad-based compensation support across the organization. You will perform job evaluations, market pricing, and contribute to career pathway initiatives.

The role offers remote or hybrid work arrangements with occasional in-office collaboration in Durham, NC or Silver Spring, MD as needed. A strong background in compensation theory and analysis is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, finance, psychology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience with a Human Resources function.
• Knowledge of FLSA, Equal Pay Act, minimum wage, overtime, and record-keeping requirements.
• Experience building compensation models and conducting detailed pay analyses.
• Experience utilizing compensation survey data (Radford & Mercer preferred).
• Skilled in designing & evaluating job architecture/career ladders, salary structures, market price and grading job evaluation, and competitive analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; able to build complex spreadsheets with formulas, pivot tables, and charts.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad-based compensation support to HR and the business.
• Perform detailed job evaluation and market pricing analyses.
• Support career pathways, job architecture, and ladders initiatives.
• Assist in compensation operations, system maintenance, and survey participation.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and decision-support materials.
