Job summary

Penske’s Corporate Compensation team seeks a Senior Compensation Analyst focused on variable pay in Reading, PA. You will advise on commission and incentive plans and support managers with policy guidance and system training.

Responsibilities include plan design, equity evaluation, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with HR Partners. Requires 4–6 years in compensation and related analytics; CCP/PHR/SHRM-CP a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant compensation experience.
• 4-6 years compensation experience preferred, multi-state environment.
• Experience with variable pay plans, budgets and structure activities.
• 3 years HR/Finance Analytics strongly preferred.
• CCP preferred or willingness to obtain within 2 years; PHR/SHRM-CP a plus.
• Internal Penske field experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Position Summary:

Penske’s Corporate Compensation team is growing and is currently seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst focused on variable pay. This role will support the Manager Compensation and will be actively involved in our variable pay programs, including commission, incentive plans. The Senior Compensation Analyst will provide compensation, analysis and consultation to all levels of management and HR Partners. Additionally, this position will provide guidance to managers on commission plan policies and practices to ensure compliance and provide system support to end users when necessary. This position is based in Reading, PA.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide compensation support and consultation to various corporate departments and field locations.
• Lead and process annual plan design and documentation.
• Identify trends and develop recommendations to address any areas of opportunity.
• Assist in audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
• Partner with the compensation team on variable, commission plans for new jobs to determine compensation structure.
• Partner with compensation of jobs and ranges for the organizations compensation program to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance.
• Deliver training to HR and Managers to educate them on our compensation philosophy, practices and systems.
• Actively participate in projects that impact associate compensation and organizational hierarchy, offer compensation support when necessary.
