Grant Thornton is seeking a Compensation Senior Associate to join the team in Charlotte, NC. The role supports design, administration, and evaluation of compensation programs through data-driven analysis and market insights.

You'll partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to provide guidance, conduct benchmarking, and assist with merit and incentive planning while ensuring pay practices remain competitive and equitable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years in compensation or total rewards analytics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
• Advanced Excel; experience with HRIS and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of pay practices, market pricing, and equity concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed org.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market competitiveness, internal equity, and pay trends.
• Perform market pricing and benchmark positions using survey data.
• Lead survey submissions and data analysis with third-party vendors.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support compensation decisions.
• Support merit and incentive planning, including budgeting.
• Provide compensation guidance to HR and business leaders.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in job architecture and market studies.
