Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in education, human or social services, or a related field; or four (4) years of experience providing social service education or work/family life consultation or coordination services.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience coordinating social service education programs.
• Have, or be willing to receive, specialized training in peer support counseling, community resources and referrals, and suicide prevention.
• Maintain current knowledge of DoW, Services, and community-sponsored resources intended to promote the well-being of service members and their families.
• Ability to coordinate across military, government, community, and civilian service provider networks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare formal reports and provide training or consultation to component-level stakeholders.

• Contribute to the conception, creation, execution, and administration of expansive outreach, educational, and enrollment initiatives.
• Manage the training, guidance, and growth of supervisory personnel.
• Supervise Field Staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Liaise between the client, various agencies, and the organization.
• Champion the project's image and objectives through public speaking engagements and professional presentations at local levels.
• Provide oversight to the Community Relations Department when the Community Relations Senior Manager is absent.
• Serve as liaison between USSOCOM and Component CRCs; coordinate mentoring programs.
• Advise and consult on broad policy reviews for region-wide mentoring programs; evaluate effectiveness and improvements.
• Coordinate with service representatives, multidisciplinary professional staff, and service providers to align programs and identify improvements.
• Assist in training peer mentors, including travel to Component locations to meet new volunteers and staff.
• Provide consultation and training to CRCs and component-level personnel.
• Document services in HP enterprise-wide platforms as directed by USSOCOM Directive 10-12.
• Perform other duties as assigned by local leadership with taskings approved through POTFF leadership.
