Job summary

American Community Management is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and energetic Community Portfolio Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service while effectively managing a diverse portfolio of high-rise condominiums and mixed-use residential communities throughout the Metro DC area.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in community association management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service and portfolio admin experience preferred.
• Proficiency in word processing, math, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior service to ACM Communities.
• Engage team in process improvements and address community needs.
• Support homeowner escalations (insurance claims, emergencies).
• Assist with conducting site visits.
• Assist team lead and senior manager with routine tasks.
• Track and review outstanding work orders/violations.
• Provide guidance on governing documents.
• Prepare board packets for meetings.
• Assist in management report production and action items.
• Review collections status and attend association meetings.
