Job summary

CAPREIT is seeking a Community Manager to oversee daily operations across our Germantown, MD sites, including The Hamptons at Town Center, Ashmore at Germantown and Brookside View. You will supervise leasing, resident relations, and ensure compliance with housing laws.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in multifamily housing, LIHTC experience, a valid driver's license, and fluency in English (Spanish preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multi-family housing.
• LIHTC affordable housing experience required.
• A valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and/or Yardi software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial reports.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the community, maintaining files and ensuring compliance with local/state/federal rules; handle move-ins/outs and resident service.
• Oversee fiscal duties: prepare annual budget, optimize rents for occupancy and revenue, produce reports, process deposits, and manage delinquency and AP/AR.
• Promote teamwork by hiring, training, and motivating property staff to achieve shared goals.
