Job summary

Communications Engineering Company (CEC) seeks a Systems Specialist to lead the physical installation of communications systems on designated projects in the Atlanta area. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to industry codes while coordinating with the project team.

Responsibilities include reviewing project information, planning, site walkthroughs, and mentoring junior staff as you execute the project plan and finalize documentation to meet CEC standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology experience within CEC or similar company.
• 1+ years of leadership experience within CEC or similar company.
• Industry safety certifications (3) preferred, & trainings can be obtained in the first year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the physical installation of communications systems on assigned projects.
• Review project information with key personnel to address questions and unknowns.
• Coordinate resources, site access, PPE, and equipment with Project Manager.
• Conduct site walk-throughs to verify locations and safety hazards.
• Create project punch lists, perform testing, and finalize documentation.
• Provide onsite training and mentoring to less experienced team members.
