We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our Strategic Communications team, a global group passionate about prioritizing people in planning and infrastructure projects. We develop ideas that bring communities together, fostering understanding and building connected, equitable, and sustainable environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Assist with client management and lead the development and implementation of outreach, communication, and public relations plans.
2. Lead production and planning teams; develop concepts, write, edit, and coordinate graphic materials.
3. Coordinate and manage public meetings, hearings, open houses, focus groups, workshops, advisory committees, and stakeholder meetings.
4. Manage project databases, coordinate external service providers, and research industry trends and news coverage.
5. Manage comment databases, including distribution lists, sign-in sheets, comment coding, responses, and reporting.
6. Research industry trends, stakeholders, and regulatory requirements for projects.
7. Manage web-based project management tools and assist in developing outreach tools like websites, databases, and social media.
8. Document outreach activities for tracking and reporting.
9. Assist with stakeholder coordination and conflict resolution through various communication channels.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Associate degree or relevant experience in a related field.
2. Willingness to travel.
3. Service- and client-oriented personality with multitasking abilities and deadline management.
4. Experience with social media programs.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience leading social media campaigns.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
