Job summary

The Aspen Institute’s Aspen Digital program seeks a Communications & Marketing Senior Associate to manage assigned projects across email, website design and maintenance, and cross‑team coordination. You will report to the Director of External Engagement & Communications for Aspen Digital; the role is hybrid, based in Washington, DC, with in‑person work about two days per week.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications and marketing.
• Excellent track record of email campaigns, website design, and branding.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and web accessibility.
• Outstanding organization and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills.
• Familiarity with Marketing Cloud or similar platforms.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a communications and marketing strategy for Aspen Digital campaigns.
• Coordinate content creation and timelines with project teams.
• Publish blog posts and update website content; improve site design and usability.
• Create segmented email marketing campaigns and draft copy.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders for events and campaigns.
• Track KPIs for website and email performance; report progress to leadership.
