We are seeking a Senior Communications Infrastructure Systems Engineer with immediate availability. This position is critical to supporting the Marine Corps Installation Communication Grid through strategic infrastructure modeling, telecommunications policy guidance, and mission-based systems engineering.

Location:

This position is located in Arlington, VA with duty responsibilities at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA as required (with potential OCONUS travel – 10%).

A salary range of $75,000 - $125,000 (depending on experience and education).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support engineering models for the Marine Corps Installation Communications Grid capital assets and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with the FCC and host nation regulators to integrate commercial infrastructure into U.S. and host-nation communications architecture.
• Lead the development of policies governing licensing, compliance, and administration of telecommunications systems.
• Conduct assessments of communications quality, system lifecycle monitoring, and infrastructure risk mitigation.
• Support the Installation Communications Advisory Group with technical guidance and telecommunication expertise.
• Develop and deliver reports, policies, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-agency collaboration to advance infrastructure integration.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Must possess a Building Industry Consulting Service International Registered Communications Distribution Designer certificate (BICSI RCDD).
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure systems engineering or telecommunications planning.
• 5+ Experience with Marine Corps or DoD communications infrastructure.
• A strong understanding of telecom policy, infrastructure lifecycle management, and FCC/DoD regulations.
• Proven ability to engage senior leadership and provide technical recommendations/briefs.
• U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
• Proficiency with infrastructure modeling, quality assurance, and national policy compliance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Public Policy, or Communications.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and host nation telecommunication regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead policy development and multi-agency working groups.
