Job summary

Aetos Systems, Inc. is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer IV to design, test, and oversee installation of electrical communication systems at Kennedy Space Center, including cabling, mission imagery systems, transmission systems, and voice systems.

This role includes system administration tasks for all network systems under contract. This represented staff position with the IBEW Union requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with extensive experience, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required; plus 10 years’ experience, or Master’s degree with ABET-accredited program and 8 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and technologies.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass NASA background investigation; drug testing; Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design communications systems to support customer requests across current and future services.
• Collaborate with AEGIS product team to deliver comprehensive solutions and standard work orders.
• Develop solutions to routine problems under supervision of lead/senior engineers.
• Process work documentation to provide continuity, visibility, and tracking for customers and AEGIS team.
