Volvo Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Senior Commodity/Project Buyer to drive QDCF results for production and project work in the Thermal Management segment. Based in the Greensboro regional HQ, the role reports to the Head of Electromechanical Purchasing, North America.
Responsibilities include developing supplier strategies, negotiating agreements, and coordinating with global peers to ensure on-time, cost-effective supply for both current production and revenue-related projects.

This Senior Commodity/Project Buyer is accountable for the Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Features (QDCF) of suppliers for regular production, in addition to serving as the interface towards suppliers for project work, within the assigned Thermal Management segment. You will be responsible for making sure that the segment business plan is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously securing supplier QDCF performance by using the tools and purchasing/cross-functional network during production and after production for Revenue segments.
This position will be based out of our Greensboro, the regional headquarter location, and will report to the Head of Electromechanical Purchasing, North America.

For this position, the base pay is set at $95,965.00 - $118,545.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
