BrainWorks has been retained by a rapidly growing, best-in-class $2B+ security software solution provider seeking to add a Senior Commodity Manager. They will develop commodity strategies for semi-conductor components from supplier evaluation through supplier relationship management. This is a high priority position with great visibility across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in the electronics industry managing procurement strategies for semi-conductor, electronic components working closely with contract manufactures. They offer a strong supportive team culture with a competitive compensation package including (Base, Bonus & RSU’s).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop commodity strategies and lead cross-functional execution for semiconductor components leading to optimal cost, supply chain, quality and on-time deliveries
• Lead RFx process for supplier selection supporting new product introductions
• Manage cost updates throughout NPI development cycle and sustaining to ensure costs stay below target
• Analyze market trends and data, develop strategy and pipeline to meet cost reduction goals
• Drive supply chain risk mitigations though multi-sourcing and supplier relationship management
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Manage strategic supplier relationship and host quarterly business reviews for strategic supplier performance management and on-going strategic alignment
• Resolve issues and disputes related to commodity procurement and delivery
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations on commodity management activities and outcomes
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience as a commodity manager or a similar role in electronics product industry with at least 5 years managing semi-conductor components
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, electrical engineering or a related field

Locations:

• 100% remote role that can be located in any PST, MST or CST time zone
