Job summary

Arrow Search Partners is seeking a senior fund accounting professional to oversee the accounting for commodities portfolios and ensure timely NAV calculations for multiple entities. The role involves liaising with trading desks, operations, and external auditors to maintain accurate reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in fund accounting, strong knowledge of commodities markets, and experience with fund accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 8-12 years of fund accounting experience.
• Experience in commodities markets essential.
• Proficiency with fund accounting systems.
• Familiarity with hedge fund regulatory requirements.
• Experience with data visualization tools and programming languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and reconciliation of commodities trades (futures, options, swaps, and physical).
• Prepare monthly and quarterly NAV calculations for commodities entities.
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting between trading desks and operations.
• Prepare audit documentation and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other standards.
• Provide accounting insights to portfolio managers, risk teams, and middle office.
